Low Pressure Carburizing SYSTEM CARB PLUS
Carburizing is a thermochemaical heat treatment process for the hardening steel components, in which the surface hardness ist increased by adding carbon. The aim here is to increase wear resistance in order to achieve a longer parts liefe. Low-pressure carburizing in a vacuum furnace with CARB PLUS SYSTEM is carried out using acytelene. This case hardening process is carriedout at low pressure and temperatures in the range of up to 1070 °C. Benefit from the many advantages of low-pressure carburizing compared to conventional carburizing processes.
